Community consultation
Effective consultation is something all landlords need to do, but sometimes they find it difficult. There may not be the resources or skills within the organisation. Sometimes it is helpful to get someone from outside to provide a bit of independence and help build consensus.
Partners in Change can provide you with effective advice and support based on 20 years experience of resident engagement. This support can include surveys, focus groups, setting up new resident panels, walkabouts and drop-ins. You can find out more about good practice in carrying out surveys by clicking here.
The following list of recent clients and projects will give you an idea of the range of work we do:
· Charnwood Borough Council – surveys and focus groups on service standards;
· South Bedfordshire District Council – major face-to-face survey of general needs and sheltered housing tenants on service improvements plus postal STATUS tenant satisfaction survey.
· Harlow District Council and East Thames – major consultation exercise to build consensus on future of mixed-tenure estate. Consultation included doorstep surveys, newsletters, walkabouts and drop-ins;
· Oadby and Wigston, Charnwood and Blaby councils – advice and support to council on consulting on stock options.
